The first clothing store, with the name “ Il Passero ” (from the family's surname Passerini) was opened in 1958 in Castello D'argile, in the province of Bologna.
Later the shop gained popularity and new shops were opened. Now The Sparrow it is divided into 2 macro types of clothing; one dedicated to comfortable sizes the other at regular sizes . This is to satisfy all the requests and needs of its customers.
In 2021 the family business enters the digital age with the creation of the e-commerce ilpassero.com
